Ascend Global Talent Solutions ("AGTS", "we", "us") is an executive search and talent solutions firm. This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website and in the course of our search and recruitment work, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
AGTS operates through the following entities, each of which may act as a controller of your personal data:

What we collect
- Enquiry and brief forms: your name, email address, phone number, organisation, location, target market and the details of your message.
- Candidate registrations and applications: the information above plus any CV or resume you upload, including career history, education and qualifications.
- Search and recruitment activity: information we gather from public professional sources, referees and our own conversations with you in the course of a search.
- Website analytics: aggregated, privacy-preserving usage data provided by Vercel Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies.
- Blog subscriptions: your email address if you subscribe to updates.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry or brief and to run the search you have asked us to run.
- To assess your suitability for roles we are retained on, and to present you to clients with your consent.
- To keep in touch about opportunities and market insight where you have asked us to.
- To operate, secure and improve this website.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, our legitimate interests in operating a search business, your consent where we ask for it, and compliance with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share candidate information with clients only for the purposes of a specific search and, wherever practical, with your prior agreement. We use trusted service providers to host this website and store data (Vercel and Supabase) and to send transactional email (Resend). These providers act on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
We operate in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Portugal and Ghana, and our clients and candidates are located worldwide. Personal data may therefore be transferred between these jurisdictions. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and brief data is kept for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our client relationship. Candidate data is kept for up to three years from our last meaningful contact unless you ask us to remove it sooner, so that we can consider you for future roles. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR; residents of certain US states have comparable rights under state privacy laws. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit and reputable hosting providers to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, and you should take care when sending sensitive information by email.
Cookies
This website uses only strictly necessary cookies and cookie-less analytics. Our admin area uses authentication cookies for staff only.
